Clarification on Resignation Terms

I am working for a Public Share Holding comapnay from 14th March 2010. On 29/04/2013 I have submitted my resignation giving final date as 30/05/2013.
My company management says that they wont leave me in One month time, rather I need to stay for minimum 5 months or else they will put ban/file case against me.
If I file a Labour complaint what is the possibility of release from my company, or can my company harm me by imposing ban.
Kindly guide.
