Stolen Debit Card

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have previously issued a transaction dispute with HSBC for 14305DHS. My debit card was stolen and used without my authorization. They have refused to refund the disputed transaction on the grounds that I did not report the card stolen until after the transactions. I was not aware that my card had been stolen until the transactions were made.

I would like to take the dispute further as my debit card was a chip-and-pin card but the transactions made were made by signature (which is not my signature).

The chip-and-pin feature of the card should not have been bypassed to allow purchase by signature.

I would like to arrange a meeting to discuss this dispute if you are willing to take this case.
